I managed to fall behind once again in the effort to get back to a regular routine. I would go into the details that drove the 2 week neglect but at the end of the day, it is a long list of excuses and lazy behavior. I have been letting a lot of external factors get back into my head and over the past 2 weeks they won the fight.
While I am wildly unhappy with myself for letting it happen, I am not going to let that feeling continue to cause more failures in this space. With that said, I did manage to force myself back to the gym today and get in some running. I knocked out 5 miles on the treadmill and felt great about every mile.
On the wight front, it is no surprise that the last two weeks have not been productive from a weight loss perspective but I didn’t lose too much ground. I only managed to add 1 pound back on. If I were that pound of fat, I would not get too comfortable as I will be shedding it back off shortly.
