Welcome back groove – I’ve missed you

funny-runFor anyone that is or has been a runner, finding your groove while out for a run is a wonderful thing.  It has been a while since I have felt very good on a run and today it came back to me after the first 2 miles.  I managed another day of 5 miles on the run this morning and that makes for 3 5 milers in 5 days.

For anyone that is not a runner, finding your groove is a feeling of ease in motion that makes you feel very comfortable in stride and effort.  Sort of like a good gear on a bike or the right speed in a car on the highway where it seems like you are floating.

While it seems that so much of the rest of the things in my life are outside of my control, it is good to know that I can control my workouts and that alone feels real good.
