Getting Back In Shape One Day At A Time…

Spark Mom Testimonial

Posted on | October 17, 2011 | No Comments

Before AdvoCare I weighed 180 pounds and was a size 14. I was a busy 36 year-old mother of three, helping my husband with his business. I didn’t feel good about myself, but I didn’t have time to do anything about it.

Then one day I was talking to Gold 3 Star Distributor Daphne Cook at our children’s preschool. I told her that I was tired all the time and would love to have more energy. She gave me a sample of AdvoCare Spark® but I didn’t try it right away. A few weeks later on a sleepy afternoon, I took my first Spark and it did the trick.

I contacted Daphne and asked about the weight-loss products. She recommended that I start with MNS® Max C and Meal Replacement Shakes. I was skeptical because I had tried to lose weight all my life and nothing worked, but I took Daphne’s word for it and lost 15 pounds!

I looked better, felt better and realized that AdvoCare was for real. But even after achieving these results, I still wasn’t committed. I stopped taking the products and got back in my rut of feeling bad about myself. In August 2007, I was fed up with my size and decided to get serious. I started taking AdvoCare products again and I saw results.

Ten months later, I had lost 60 pounds. I’m now thrilled to be my dream size of 2/4 – a size that people told me I could never be!

Like many people, I’m a snacker and eat when I get bored or stressed. MNS Max C helps take away those cravings. I now walk every morning and take Catalyst™ before I go. I take ThermoPlus™ before meals and drink my Meal Replacement Shakes at lunch. I take Spark when I need an extra boost. I’ve gone through some difficult times in my life and the AdvoCare products help keep my energy up when I feel down.

Whether you’re looking to lose weight, build a business or just feel better, you’ll win when you get on AdvoCare, get serious and consistent, and get results!

  • About Me

Just over a year ago I was celebrating the training for and completion of my first marathon and now, a year later, that couldn't feel farther away than it does right now.

Sure, I have had some injuries and other events that have distracted me from being health focused but to be honest, they are all merely excuses to allow me to focus fully on being lazy.

To ensure that I stay focused on this effort, I plan to document day to day efforts and events on my way back to a better life.
